Village infrastructure
Before the revelry begins, our Village is a hopeful dream awaiting hands to build it.
Setup
Hands are needed Friday–Sunday, the weekend before the Burn.
Breakdown
Hands are needed to dismantle infrastructure and pack containers on Sunday–Monday after the Burn.

Takeover Days
Each camp steps into the spotlight for a day, shaping events filled with creative magic—feasts, dances, performances, or delightful absurdities. This is your moment to amaze and enchant. Camp leads coordinate their crews unique creative offerings, bringing distinctive flavour and imagination to their special day at the Mad Hatters Lounge.
Daily Schedule
Yoga (8:00–9:30am)
Coffee (9:30–11:30am)
Talks & Activities (11:00am–4:00pm)
Sunset Parties
Monday to Thursday (5pm–12am)
Wednesday (4pm - 12am)
Friday & Saturday (5pm–2am)

Our Village is overseen by the Village Leads and each camp is led by a Camp Lead. Each Camp Lead will require core functions to be managed on their takeover day, as well as participants to volunteer for shifts, ensuring takeover days and daily operations' roles and responsibilities are equitably shared to run each camp.

Intentions
No one is paying for a service. Our infrastructure and experiences facilitate collective participation, not transactions. Every effort and every rand helps bring our vision to life, ensuring we collectively create magic in the desert without expectation of return.
Arrangements
If unable to meet minimum camp dues, participants can discuss alternatives with camp leads. We ensure fairness by adjusting donations based on financial capacity.
